Procedures

Bariatric surgery is an effective method for achieving long-term weight loss and treating weight-related health conditions. Although diet and exercise may be helpful for lower BMI patients, studies show that diet and exercise alone may not be as effective for patients with higher BMIs. Although incorporating exercise routine and dietary changes are key to weight loss and weight maintenance, many find that without band’s help their new healthy habits hard to maintain. The band is the tool that ultimately helps to make the weight loss lasting* and eating mindful. Currently, weight-loss surgery is recognized as the most effective long-term obesity treatment.
