At DayOne, we require a Psychological Evaluation for all patients interested in having the LAP-BAND procedure. Every aspect of your well-being is very important to us and your emotional health is just as important as your physical health. We want to make sure your body and your mind are ready for surgery and for your new life after surgery.

Even if you are currently under the care of a psychologist or psychiatrist, we ask that you meet with our psychologist at DayOne, as he/she has specialized experience in understanding the unique emotional and psychological issues related to weight and food, as well as the mindset important to your post-operative success.
