David Woodard, MD.
Dr Woodard was born and raised in New York. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and Doctorate in Medicine from SUNY Health and Science in Syracuse, NY. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at RUSH Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
He is a Board Certified General Surgeon, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons; he is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Society of General Surgeons, American Medical Association, Illinois Medical Society, DuPage County Medical Society. Dr. Woodard specializes in lap-band adjustable gastric banding surgery. He has successfully performed hundreds of bariatric procedures.
Dr. Woodard practices with Associated General Surgeons and is a member of the surgical team at DayOne Health. He has been in practice and at Central DuPage Hospital since 1992 and is also affiliated with Dayone Health offices in Winfield, Naperville Oakbrook Terrace, and Oswego.
Dr. Woodard and his family live in Wheaton, Illinois.
